Replacing your car windows is a relatively easy task and can be done in just a few hours. Here are the steps:

1. Park your car in a safe location.

Here are three steps to replacing your car window:

1. Remove the old window. On most cars, the window is held in place by four screws. Once those screws are removed, the window can be pulled out of the door.

2. If your car has a plastic trim around the window, remove that as well. You'll need to do this on most cars because it will interfere with installing the new window.

3. Install the new window. Place the new window in position and secure it with the four screws that were removed in step 1. Then replace the plastic trim if necessary.
