  3. Crocidolite – The crocidolite asbestos was widely used to protect steam engines. Blue asbestos is another known to crocidolite which was widely used in plastics, insulation of pipes and cement products.
  4. Tremolite and Actinolite–The tremolite and actinolite asbestos were probably the least popular types. The reason behind this is due to the fact that it could cause contamination in vermiculture, talc and chrysotile asbestos.
